2. It is important to find a woman who can make you laugh.
3. It is important to find a woman who you can trust and who doesn't lie to you.
4. It is important to find a woman who is good in bed and who likes to be with you.

For those of you that remember the HORROR that was Tim Burton's and Joel Shumacher's Batman Franchise.. Here is a Breath of FRESH AIR. Just when I had lost faith, in a decent adaptation of one of my favorite superheroes of all time.
I walk into the screening, nervous, and unsure...
The Lights go down..
And the Onslaught begins!
BATMAN! The Truest Adaptation of the Comics to date!
Don't wait to see this movie.. When it comes out.. BE THERE!
And be ready for one of the best superhero movies to date.. "Up there with Spider-Man 1 and 2..." was what one friend said that went with me "I am not embaressed to like Batman anymore..."
Form your own opinion!
BUT DAMN!

Is there any cause for Movie Nights any of these nights a week? I have been thinking.. there are a lot of movies I could contribute to a movie night.. Not sure if this is the best location to have it at, given the size of my tv :(

sale?!?! WHAT AND NO ONE TOLD ME!?!
Bah!
I have seen him twice.. he throws a fit on stage.. ooo...
Sorry.. if you had asked me back in 1990 if I wanted to see them, I would of said yes but here it is 15 years later!
His last album sucked ballz... the only album he has ever put out that I was "All into" was PHM...
Broken was ok...
Downward Spiral was alright..
The Fragile was a BIG SELL OUT CRAP ALBUM
These are just my opinions... so take them as you will.. but honestly you aren't missing anything I assure you.. if you want to see him live I have a recording of him at Woodstock, just hit me up for a copy... That was an alright show to watch.
But I enjoyed him most when he opened for Peter Murphy, and no one really knew who they were. I am sorry the lot of you missed that.
But trying to see him now, unless this new album is "Phenominal" will just be a waste of time and money. I can't even listen to him, and feel the same way about his lyrics, that I did when I was younger. It's all just thrown together to make a buck. And more power to him, he just won't get my money..

Yeah pretty much what the subject says.. I was in VaBeach/Norfolk for the weekend.. and now I have returned to the real world.. Not sure if that is a good thing or not yet..
But on a good note.. I did have lots of fun DJ'ing again.. Although some things didn't go as planed.. but then again when do they ever? But the floor was constantly moving.. Not sure how much they paid to have that happen for me ;)
So this Cure album is really starting to grow on me.. I know Bloodflowers never did.. it just sits in my CD trunk. My favorite track on the new Cure album so far is the one i am listening to
( Lyrics: )
Gonna be on line most of the day today I think.. time to just sit here and do nothing but sit with the puter..

So I spent 3 hours in the record store today! damn time flew... I found some decent stuff.. Not sure if I would consider any of it Soundwave or Megatron.
Found Front 242 - Headhunter 12" among other things.
Hopefully, there will be some other kewl stuff next week. I swear I need to start working there or something. Gonna need some other income to supplement my Vinyl buying, here shortly. I would rather work there as a supplement, just so I can make sure I get the stuff I am looking for, and know exactly what is coming in there.
Anyway, I am going to go play with my vinyl now.. and see what I can come up with..

So I have been finding this music online, that I have been looking for. It's difficult to find stuff on line, or anywhere for that matter if you aren't even sure what you are looking for. But it finally seems to be coming together.
This current track for instance.. Ver g00t track, I hope I can find this in the store tomorrow.. that would be kewl. But something tells me, even though the store has been really kewl, I doubt I will be so lucky.
I don't know, it seems like going to the record store now is a lot like when I was a child trying to sleep on Christmas Eve. Freaky right? I go in there, I have an idea of what I want.. but I may not necessarily get it. But this isn't always a bad thing! Even if I don't find what I wanted to find that day I still make off with some decent stuff, that I am really happy I have found. Very akin to Christmas time as a child.. You really want your Megatron, or Soundwave Transformer toy, but you end up with Grimlock, or Starscream instead... In that instance, I really haven't lost anything, I am still getting a kick arse Transformer! :-D
So only time will tell, will I get Megatron or Soundwave? Or will I walk out of there with Starscream, Grimlock, Ravage, Rumble, Frenzy, Laserbeak, and Shockwave? :-p DAMN IT! Now I want to buy Transformers!!! GAH! Sorry Victoria, I will have to postpone my trip in order to go get Transformers instead..
Just kidding, I know I gotz stuff waiting for me.. Must go tomorrowz.

Oingo Boingo - Skin |

So the weekend came and went, I got some things done, and also found ways to waste time. I ended up hanging out with a friend I just haven't been spending enough time with. So Saturday I went over his house, chilled out, recorded some stuff, and played the GameCube... Sunday went and visited extyger, then got some new vinyl... I lurvs new vinyl... got a copy of Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart 12" w00t!. After which, I met up with said Friend from Saturday, and caught Kill Bill Vol 2. It's good to wrap that all up.
When I got home, my roommate dragged me out to Wal-Mart.. I didn't really want to follow her around and look at crap So as most guys do I go check out the Toys... Nothing much interesting was found there. So I proceed to the next Guy spot in the store. Electronic stuffz. I browse around there for a bit, my friend zumb can't find me.. Yet I find kewl Mini Disc recorder on clearance.. W00T! Now I have portable set recording device of Doom! Devices of Doom, are always kewl in my book.
Also in conclusion one of my searches that started pretty much as soon as I got my Turntables, has come halfway to a close.. the slipmat :-D Now I must find one more Decepticon...

Ok I may be a little late on this one, but I just got done watching "24 Hour Party People" This was quite enjoyable, especially for someone that listens to most of the music and bands covered within this movie. Anyway, I thought I would share that with peeps.
In other news.. I am going to take a little poll,
Should I... or Should I not venture out this weekend? And if I do so happen to venture.. where should I go?
I am quite content to stay home, and play with the turn tables for hours on in. Then again, I might be persuaded to go out of the house.

Prince - Purple Rain |
] |
this reminds me of my nice find this past Sunday... So I went down to Wax N' Facts and shopped around for some vinyl. This in of itself is addicting.. But I was delighted to find Prince "Purple Rain" Promotional Copy, Purple vinyl. In a beautiful, NM package, and still with it's original Poster! :-D now some might not consider this a find, but FUCK ALL OF YOU! that don't :-D I am happy about it. In other news, I am working on this teaser for my website. If it is done correctly, it should look kick arse. I went through all my vinyl last night, I was curious, because I had just filled up my box. Seems that my record collection is growing rather quickly.. I have only just now started buying vinyl again.. and I already have almost 80 records :-D I am going to have to start building shelves for them. But I am not going to be bringing them all with me when I have a gig again.. FS will help eliviate that task, So I will probably just need to get a record bag. And that should be all the records I will need to bring with me. I am not forseeing a reason to ever carry CD's with me again! W00T.
I got this new roommate that just moved in too, from Argintina (or however you spell it) Kewl guy!, He DJ's more of the trance, techno, house stuffz... So we went out to Tower last night, and looked around at their used music.. he pointed out some good trance 12"'s so I picked up a few of those. I don't want to be bound to one genre of music anymore. I want to be able to take any DJ gig that is thrown at me, and I am interested in taking. I am tired of being a jukebox for these people that won't even dance. My sets will be geared towards those that do dance.. and dance they shall. If you are the type to sit at the bar all night and come up and make requests, in the future don't bother. Especially if the request is crap and you aren't going to dance to it. Anyway I need to get ready for work now..
djaesthetic you had be sober enough to come out today.. l8r peeps.
